2. Description of Service

ClearAccess provides an access control and visitor management platform that enables organizations to:

• Generate and manage guest access codes
• Verify visitor access via QR codes
• Track access logs and audit trails
• Manage team members and their roles
• Configure access policies and geofencing

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription & Payment

Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, you will be automatically enrolled in the plan you selected unless you cancel.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Interfere with the proper working of the Service
• Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Share access codes with unauthorized parties
• Use the Service to facilitate harassment or threats
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

6. Organization Responsibilities

Organization owners and managers are responsible for:

• Managing team member access and permissions
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Obtaining necessary consents for visitor data collection
• Maintaining appropriate security at physical access points
• Training security personnel on proper use of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

ClearAccess and its content, features, and functionality are owned by ClearAccess and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that access logs and visitor data collected through the Service may be shared with authorized members of your organization.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. The Service includes offline capabilities to ensure continued operation during network outages.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearAccess shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or security breaches, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. You use the Service at your own risk.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after such notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.
